Outlook profiles don't offer password protection, and Spotlight searches from the Finder will locate Outlook items from all the profiles in the current user account. The ability to manually repair or rebuild a database is not available in Outlook 2016 for Mac. This is a change from Office 2011 for Mac, in which you had to manually rebuild the Office database if there was a problem. Important: If more than one person uses the same computer, Outlook profiles don't offer as much privacy as separate user accounts in the Mac OS. If a problem such as Outlook data corruption occurs, Office 2016 for Mac automatically repairs and rebuilds the Office database for you.
